1. The short version

MyDeskUtil collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no uploads of your files to our server, and no logs of your visits. Everything you do in our tools is processed locally in your browser.

2. Processing happens on your device

Tools that handle files (PDF merge/split, image conversion, QR generation, hashing, case conversion) work entirely inside your browser. Your files and text never leave your device and are never seen by our server.

3. Third-party services your browser contacts directly

Some tools make requests from your browser to public services:

• What Is My IP: ipify.org, ipwho.is, freeipapi.com — to fetch your public IP address and approximate location.
• DNS Lookup: Google Public DNS (dns.google) and Cloudflare DNS — to resolve DNS records. The domains you query are visible to these resolvers.

We do not see or store these requests. Please review those services' own privacy policies if you have concerns.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This website displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can control personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party vendors via aboutads.info.

5. Local storage

Your browser stores two small settings locally (theme preference and recently used tools). This data never leaves your device and is cleared when you clear your browser data.
